What Is A False Alarm?
Response:
When the police and reach the premises and find no evidence of a disturbance, then the alarm is classified as ‘False’. When the monitoring center receives a signal from a security system they first call the premises. If there is no answer at the premises; next according to Florida law they must call the next person on the call list. After making two phone calls to intercept a False Alarm, they then dispatch the police and start calling the rest of the names on the call list.
NOTE
If you have a false dispatch you should inform your alarm company to avoid future problems.
