My Alarm Is Going Off, What Do I Do?
Response:
Assuming you are at the monitored premises, the first thing you do is enter your code to cancel the alarm. If you have done this within 60 seconds, the monitoring center may NOT call. However, if enough time passes before you can enter your code to cancel the alarm, you will receive a phone call and they will ask for your name and password.
NOTE
It is not necessary to call the monitoring center if it was accidental. Remember, if they call you and get a busy signal, you may have a false dispatch.
Note:The keypad will show the zone number that initiated the alarm. Make sure the zone is intact and enter your code plus OFF to clear (reset) the security system.
